The apparel industry and industries related to emotion are on the rise as design industries have been growing both domestically and internationally. Fashion design, the heart of the design industry, has become a point of national interest. To meet domestic and international interests, this four-year course consists of theoretical and practical studies, after which students become qualified to work as professionals in the fashion design industry of the 21st century. To that end, students make a study of theories: the history of clothing making to understand the changes of fashion trends and predict future fashion: apparel CAD for clothing design and production: and fashion marketing related with clothing planning, production and distribution. Not only will students be trained in the art of coloring and modeling through the study of theory and its practice of textile design, but students will also study all aspects of the production of sensible and aesthetic cloth from designing to clothing manufacturing. They also test the quality of fabric and try on the clothing made from the fabric in order to understand the cloth’s level of comfort.
