School fo Child Studies & Social Welfare

The department of Family & Human Welfare makes a systematic study of the relationship between human beings and their domestic and adjacent environment, and seeks to find ways to improve the quality and wellness of life. In order to accomplish this task, the department teaches students to understand the fundamental theory of family environment and welfare studies through education and experience from industry internships. The educational aspects of this department consist of majors in family and welfare of senior citizens, study of residence, and interior design, study of consumption, and pedology as well as double majors with studies of social welfare and interior design. The mission of this department is to educate professionals who can understand existing issues and needs of both the family unit and society so that they can lead the community in making improvements for the well-being of human life.
