Department of Digital Information and Communication Technology Engineering

The Information and Communication Engineering studies the core technology that can realize the ubiquitous information society; therefore, this major concentrates on the education of ubiquitous communication (U-IT) that can be applied in multiple areas. For the new era, the new industry, and the new life, information communication technology has become the basic technology. The major fields of study are the multimedia data processing communication system, communication network, mobile communication technology, ubiquitous technology, embedded technology, programming technology, etc. The faculty members, with abundant experience in research centers, industrial companies, and management of venture capital companies, provide students with necessary and in demand realistic business environment education and train them to become intelligent and successful professionals. The major was granted the NURI program award in 2004 and the award of certification of engineering education (ABEEK) in 2007.
