The Department of Electronic Engineering has to produce technically talented superior human resources to make a continuous development of the field because electronic engineering, the base of today’s industrial environment, is a technology-intensive study in which new technology is developed at a tremendous speed. In order to raise young, competent and energetic engineers in demand for leading roles in the globalization and information era, the major has launched various courses such as electronics and semi conductors, micro-processor, computer, internet, multimedia system, information and communication, and core technology. The students are educated in studies based on each individual’s skills and talents. The students have opportunities for careers in the fields of electronics and semiconductors of global and mid-size companies, broadcasting companies and other research centers. They can work as technical engineers in public sectors such as mobile telecommunication, or students can also pursue further study for a master degree at a graduate school.
