The study of management is focused on educating students to become professional managers with the talent and capability for domestic and international business environments, and to contribute to the development of the nation and the society. To that end, courses on marketing, production, human resources, finance and accounting, management, information technology, strategic management, operations management, and applied theory are intensively taught. The department especially provides students with internship programs in diversified cooperative businesses and overseas exchange programs so that students learn to make logical business decisions, gain experience in information management processing, and acquire the right attitude and mind set for global business management. With the above-mentioned courses, the mission of the department is to produce ethical business people who can meet the demands and responsibilities of domestic and international businesses.

The importance of accounting in the process of making rational decisions in economic organizations has long been recognized as a necessity in the rapidly changing international community of businesses and corporations. It is extremely important to measure, report and manage accounting information for the decision making process. This necessitates that professionals be educated to cope with the rapidly changing environment of accounting. It is also a fact of modern business that accounting is the language of the corporate world, so that understanding accounting is a requirement for people concerned with coorperation interests. The mission of the department is to educate accounting professionals who will be engaged in practical business and accounting research. Therefore, the curriculum focuses on the following areas of study: accounting professional education concentrating on accounting theory, its practice, and case studies, education in accounting ethics necessary for those accounting professionals who will be engaged in practical business and accounting research, and accounting-support education necessary for those who will be engaged in social science and fields other than accounting.
